Piping Hot strips the genre down to its core: you're connecting pipes across multiple floors before water reaches the exit, and the pressure (literally) forces you to think fast without drowning in complexity. The floor-switching mechanic adds a light puzzle layer that keeps it from feeling like pure busywork, and the unlimited mode means there's always another round if you've got five minutes to kill. It's not reinventing the wheel, and at this price point it's not trying to. If you want a casual game that won't demand hours of your life but delivers solid puzzle satisfaction, this delivers. No pretense, no grind gates, just pipes and time pressure.
