Pilo and the Holobook

I spent a few hours with Pilo and the Holobook and found something surprisingly earnest underneath the sticker-collecting hook. You explore hand-drawn planets, uncover creatures and objects, and feed them into your upgradable Holobook to create stickers. The core loop is simple but satisfying, and the art style carries real charm. The story threads a darker narrative about confronting spreading darkness through this cozy framework, which works better than it has any right to. This is a short, focused experience, not a 40-hour epic. If you want methodical exploration without combat pressure, and you're okay with a game that prioritizes atmosphere and discovery over challenge, this fits the bill. Controller support is solid. It's niche, but in the good way: it knows exactly what it is.
