About Paws and Claws: Pet School
I've seen a lot of life-sim tutorials, and Paws and Claws commits the cardinal sin: it confuses clicking repetitive actions with strategic decision-making. You pick one of six animals (dogs, horses, cats, mice, rabbits, parrots), feed them, exercise them, and repeat until a meter fills. There's no build order, no resource tension, no meaningful trade-offs between training paths. The UI is clunky even by 2009 standards, and the pet interactions boil down to animation loops. This is a game for very young children who enjoy watching animals do things on screen, not for anyone seeking actual simulation mechanics or progression systems with teeth. If you're looking for a pet-management game with actual strategy, skip this entirely and find something modern instead. Diego, Scout Team
