About Parabellum: Siege Of Legends
I spent time with Parabellum expecting either a turn-based tactics game or a real-time RTS, and the game refuses to commit to either. It's set in a medieval world where you manage units and territory, but the interface doesn't clearly signal what's clickable or how your decisions feed into the turn structure. The bones are there - unit positioning matters, resource timing exists - but execution feels unpolished and tutorials are sparse. For sub-5 dollar strategy games, expectation-setting is everything. If you're willing to reverse-engineer the systems and tolerate rough UI, there's a serviceable medieval strategy skeleton underneath. Just don't expect AAA onboarding or depth comparable to titles with bigger budgets. This is a "patch it with mods or wait for updates" purchase, not a day-one essential. Diego, Scout Team
