Outcasts of Dungeon

I went in with tempered expectations for Outcasts of Dungeon, and that turned out to be the right call. It's a modest indie action-adventure that wears its budget constraints openly, but the core loop of fighting your way through themed dungeon floors holds up fine. Enemy placement and environmental hazards actually make you think about positioning rather than just mashing attack buttons, which is more than some bigger titles manage. The rough edges are real: animation is stiff, the story is thin, and there's no fancy progression system to chase. But if you're after a straightforward dungeon romp without pretension or 40-hour padding, this delivers exactly what the title promises. Not a hidden gem, but an honest little game that knows what it is.
