NOREN
A minimalist key-finder where regional mechanics save it from pure busywork, but the thin premise wears out fast.
GamerScout Verdict
Best for a quick, low-stress puzzle session; don't expect depth or replay value.

About NOREN
I picked up NOREN expecting a straightforward puzzle game, and that's what I got: explore regions, find keys, unlock the next area. The hook is that certain zones introduce their own mechanics instead of just repeating the same search pattern. It's the kind of game you boot up to decompress for an evening rather than to sink 40 hours into, and it knows its limits. The problem is those limits bite hard. Once you've grasped the region-specific tricks, there's not much left to discover. No build variety, no emergent strategy, no reason to replay. For £3 or so, it's fine as a palette cleanser between heavier titles, but it won't stick with you. Speedrunners and completionists will find their fun faster than anyone else.
