No Pineapple Left Behind
A school-management sim that turns kids into pineapples and burnout into a spreadsheet. The satire is sharp, the optimization loop is thin, and it's over in an afternoon.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth an afternoon if you want satire with a management skin, not if you want a sim with real optimization depth.
Compare Prices(3 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About No Pineapple Left Behind
The defining mechanic is that children literally become pineapples when they stop caring, and pineapples are easier to manage: they sit still, they test fine, they never have problems. That single conversion rule reframes every scheduling decision you make. Once you understand that a de-humanized student is a strictly better unit on your spreadsheet, you stop building a school and start optimizing a factory, which is exactly the point Subaltern Games is making. You drag teachers onto class blocks, assign schedules, spend money on staff, and watch a test-score bar that only rewards throughput. The problem is the systems layer under the joke. There is not enough tension between competing variables to make the optimization interesting past the first few missions, the AI students telegraph their needs bluntly, and the campaign wraps up in a couple of hours. Mixed reviews and a 59 Metacritic are honest here. As a piece of political commentary it is efficient and mean in the right ways. As a management sim it never earns its second playthrough, and there's no mod scene or sandbox depth to fall back on.
