Four players, one shared bond market, and a table full of people who will absolutely lie to you. Brutal, brief, and not remotely interested in being fair.

Third round, I loaned an opponent the votes he needed to pass a resolution he swore would raise my bond yields. It raised his. That is Neocolonialism in one move: a zero-sum board game where the only real mechanic is other people, and the numbers on screen exist mainly to tell you how badly you just got played. You buy influence in developing countries, manipulate votes, and cash out before the economy you gutted collapses under someone else. Sessions run short, four players is the sweet spot, and the satire lands because the math genuinely rewards being awful. The problem is the on-ramp. The UI drops you into yields and vote-buying with almost no scaffolding, so your first game is spent decoding menus instead of reading opponents, and that is a big part of why the Steam score sits mixed. Solo against the AI is a tutorial at best. Get four humans who will talk, and it sings. Diego, Scout Team

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
