Five new masters, a "Legacy" roster that spans classic Naruto to Boruto-era villains, and a Defense-class bonus technique on arrival. Worthwhile if the base game still has its hooks in you, skippable if your build is already dialled in.

I've tracked Shinobi Striker's DLC cadence across five passes now, and Season Pass 5 is arguably the most fan-service-loaded batch since the original nine-character launch. The theme is "Legacy", and Bandai Namco is leaning into that hard: the five Master Character Training Packs run from the iconic Madara Uchiha in his Six Paths form all the way through Temari, Konohamaru Sarutobi (the Boruto-era version), Naruto Uzumaki in Baryon Mode, and finally Isshiki Otsutsuki. That is a murderers' row of both nostalgia picks and current-arc heavyweights, and for a game that lives and dies on its online PvP ecosystem, new masters means new build options across all four combat roles. The headline addition is Madara (Six Paths), and the community's enthusiasm here is earned. His moveset is a meaningful overhaul compared to the base Madara already in the game: the Truthseeker Orb shakujo replaces his fan, his Limbo: Border Jail ninjutsu deploys invisible clones to pressure objectives, and his Infinite Tsukuyomi Secret Technique is genuinely diabolical in competitive play. It hypnotizes the entire active enemy team simultaneously, and the Divine Deep Forest Emergence follow-up drains their health, ninjutsu stocks, substitution charges, and Secret Technique gauge all at once. Understanding when to pop that chain separates casual use from actual menace. He also happens to fill the Healer role offensively, which is a sweet spot for players who want to contribute to team fights without sitting at the back of the map. The pass also hands you the Rasengan Unison (Defense Type) Secret Technique immediately on purchase, so there is day-one value even before you grind Training Points with any of the five masters. Each master follows the standard Shinobi Striker formula: train to accumulate points, spend those points to unlock ninjutsu, outfits, hairstyles, and avatar cosmetics tied to that character's aesthetic. The grind is real. Shinobi Striker has never been generous about how quickly training unlocks happen, and that is as true here as in earlier passes. If the repetition of farming VR missions wore you out before, Season Pass 5 will not magically fix that. Who is this for? Dedicated Shinobi Striker regulars who are still running online lobbies and want relevant new tools for competitive builds. Naruto fans who specifically want Baryon Mode Naruto or Isshiki Otsutsuki represented in their roster will find the content worth the time investment. It is not for lapsed players hoping a new pass will re-engage them with the broader game. The base game itself carries a Very Positive rating on Steam across a large review pool, which tells you the live community is still active and healthy enough to make the DLC's competitive content meaningful. GamerScout Verdict

Solid roster addition for active Shinobi Striker players, but the training grind means the value is tied entirely to how much time you already spend in lobbies.
