I spent a couple of hours with Nanali in another world expecting a tighter puzzle experience than I got. The core hook is solid: you swap between two dimensions to solve environmental puzzles and progress through platforming sections. The movement feels responsive enough, and there are moments where the dimensional mechanic clicks and forces you to think sideways about a room layout. The problem is commitment. The game doesn't trust its own premise long enough to build real momentum. Puzzles stay shallow, pacing meanders, and the world doesn't give you much reason to care about why Nanali is dimension-hopping in the first place. If you're hunting a zen puzzle game to zone out to for an hour, this scratches that itch. Anyone expecting Portal-style elegance or Braid-level design ambition will feel the gap fast.
