A museum tycoon whose expedition loop asks for 40 hours of clicking before the economy opens up, and the economy never actually opens up.

This one asks for patience first and pays out somewhere around never. The loop is simple: send expeditions, dig up artifacts, restore them at a bench, slot them into display halls, watch visitor income tick up. That is a fine skeleton, and the restoration minigames have a genuinely satisfying rhythm for the first few hours. The problem is the math behind it. Income scales almost linearly with floor space, artifact rarity barely changes the curve, and there is no meaningful decision about what to specialize in. By hour ten you have solved the economy, and the remaining thirty are just executing the same expedition-restore-place order at a bigger scale. For a sim, the tells are all bad ones. No mod support means no community patch for the numbers, single-player only means no leaderboard pressure, and the tutorial hands you the systems without ever explaining why one build order beats another (because none does). Cozy management fans who want an idle background game may still get their money's worth. Anyone who came for a tycoon curve should look at Two Point Museum instead. Diego, Scout Team

GamerScout Verdict

Fine as a cozy idle sim, but the tycoon economy flatlines by hour ten and never recovers.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
