It's pure visual novel territory - dialogue trees, inventory checks, and branching paths based on what you say and which items you've collected. The writing leans hard into historical fiction with invented intrigue woven around real events. If you're the type who reads history books for fun and doesn't mind slow-burn storytelling with zero combat or puzzles, this scratches that itch. It's a one-sitting kind of game (maybe 2-3 hours), and your choices allegedly matter for the ending, though the world never feels particularly reactive. Not for everyone, but exactly right if you want an obscure period piece with no hand-holding.
