I went in expecting either pure nostalgia bait or a forgotten cult classic. Moorhuhn/Crazy Chicken Tales is neither. It's a casual adventure that leans hard on the charm of its titular chicken mascot and friends, sending them through a story that hunts for some ancient castle. The humor lands somewhere between European arcade kitsch and Saturday morning cartoon logic - it knows what it is and doesn't apologize for it. The game's main draw is just how earnestly weird it commits to the bit. If you grew up seeing Moorhuhn in arcades or have affection for early 2000s point-and-click adventure weirdness, there's something here. But if you're after real puzzle depth, genuine laughs, or even solid production values, you'll bounce off quickly. It's the kind of game that exists more as a time capsule than a lasting experience.
