MLB: The Show 24 MVP Edition
For sim-baseball diehards who want the deepest swing mechanics on the market, and nobody else. Everyone casually curious should walk right past the MVP tier.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth it if you live in Diamond Dynasty and want the stub head start; skip the MVP tier if you only play offline.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About MLB: The Show 24 MVP Edition
This is for the player who already knows what a perfect-perfect line drive feels like and wants the MVP bundle's extra Diamond Dynasty stubs and packs to shortcut the grind. If you are not building a card team, walk away: the base version plays identically on the field, and the MVP extras are entirely a head start in the collect-and-flip economy. What the series does exceptionally well is hitting. Plate coverage indicators, zone and directional interfaces, pitch tunneling that actually rewards reading a pitcher's arm slot - it is still the most legible swing model in any sports game. Pitching and fielding are competent but not the reason you show up. Road to the Show and Franchise get modest year-over-year nudges rather than rebuilds, which is the recurring complaint: this is an iteration, not a reinvention. Online play depends heavily on connection quality, and a laggy opponent turns that beautiful hitting system into guesswork. Buy it for the swing, tolerate the rest.
