Compare Mirror's Edge prices across trusted key stores and find the best deal. Developed by Electronic Arts Inc.. Published by Electronic Arts. Released on 6/9/2016. Available on PC, Xbox. Genres: Action, Adventure, FPS, Simulation, Open World, Platformer. Metacritic score: 72/100.

First-person parkour through a sterile dystopia that nails momentum but stumbles hard when it forces you to fight.

I spent a few hours with Mirror's Edge expecting a pure parkour game, and for stretches it delivers that fantasy brilliantly. Running across rooftops, vaulting railings, and chaining wall-runs together feels fluid and responsive. The minimalist aesthetic and color-coded pathways keep you locked into flow state. Then combat arrives, and the whole thing deflates. Melee feels clunky, gunplay sits awkwardly in a first-person parkour frame, and stealth sections drag the pacing down to a crawl. If you're hunting for a game where movement is the main event and story is window dressing, the rooftop sections scratch that itch. But don't go in expecting consistent action-adventure polish. This is a one-trick pony, and that trick is genuinely clever for the half of the game where it's allowed to breathe. Alex, Scout Team

GamerScout Verdict

Brilliant parkour mechanics undermined by forced combat sequences that break the flow.
