Three hours of pixel-art Italian crime cinema with a soundtrack worth the entry alone, held back by top-down shooting that never quite tightens up.

The soundtrack is the reason to play this. Fuzzed-out guitar, brass stabs, that particular grimy swagger of a 1970s Milan car chase, and Italo Games clearly built the whole thing outward from it. The pixel art earns the comparison too: rain-slick streets, smoke-hazed interiors, ugly beautiful faces in the cutscene portraits. It is a poliziotteschi revenge story about a man out of prison and out of patience, told in three hours and smart enough not to stretch to four. I will always defend a game that knows its own runtime. What lets it down is the part you actually hold in your hands. The top-down shooting is stiff where it should be snappy, the ricochet trick shots feel more like luck than skill, and a couple of stealth and vehicle sections stop the momentum cold right when the mood has you. Local split-screen co-op is a nice touch, though not the reason you are here. Come for the atmosphere and the score, accept the friction, and the mixed reception makes complete sense. Worth an evening if 1970s Italian crime cinema is your thing and you can forgive clumsy shooting.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
