Men against Lizards

I went in skeptical about what "looking like the main character" actually meant, but Men against Lizards leans into a gimmick that most games would've abandoned after the pitch. It's a single-player adventure built around the idea that you're inhabiting the role rather than puppeteering a sprite. The lizard encounters and combat are straightforward, but there's something oddly refreshing about a game that skips the usual hero fantasy wrapper and just lets you play. It's barebones on features and clearly made on a tight budget, but it knows what it is. If you're tired of standard adventure tropes and want something genuinely weird, this delivers. Don't expect polish or depth. Do expect something memorable in its strangeness.
