About MechRunner
I went in expecting another bloated action game, but MechRunner strips things down to their core: you're a mech, robots attack in waves, you dodge and destroy until the screen fills with too many bullets. No story, no progression trees, no gatekeeping behind unlocks. It's pure arcade reflex wrapped in decent visual polish. The cinematic framing makes each encounter feel weighty even when the mechanics are straightforward. The trade-off is real though. There's not much here to sink teeth into beyond high-score chasing. Achievements exist, but the game doesn't reinvent the endless-runner wheel. If you want zen bullet-dodging action with a mech skin, it delivers. If you're hunting for depth or narrative hook, look elsewhere. It knows what it is.
