Madden NFL 21
If you want to play football on your PC without waiting for the next-gen console version, Madden 21 delivers the core simulation, but the 63 Metacritic score hints at where it stumbles.
GamerScout Verdict
Solid football sim for franchise devotees, but console and newer entries are sharper investments.

About Madden NFL 21
I've spent enough time with the Madden franchise to know what you're getting: franchise mode, Ultimate Team card collecting, and play-calling that rewards patience over button mashing. Madden 21 on PC does all of that, but it's a noticeably older version of the engine compared to console releases. The 63 Metacritic reflects real friction points, animation clipping, CPU AI that feels inconsistent, and Ultimate Team monetization that'll drain your wallet faster than your team's defense in the fourth quarter. Best for diehard NFL fans who already own a PC copy or can't access the console versions. If you're new to the series, wait for a deeper discount or jump to a newer entry. The core football sim is sound, but this entry feels like a port that was put together rather than truly ported.
