Lock Parsing is a 2017 indie sim that strips lock-picking down to its mechanical bones. You're working with virtual locks, feeling for pins, tension, feedback - the core loop is reading what each lock is telling you and adjusting your approach. There's no combat wrapper, no story framing. It's pure puzzle logic in lock form, which means it lives or dies on whether you find that specific kind of problem-solving satisfying. If you've ever enjoyed hands-on puzzle games or spent way too long fiddling with a physical lock, this might click for you. Everyone else will bounce off in minutes. The lack of Steam presence and reviews tells you what you're dealing with: a deep-cut title for a very small audience. It's not rough or broken, just confidently niche.
