I found LIQUID to be a quietly ambitious indie RPG that prioritizes mood over spectacle. It's a game that trusts the player to piece together its world through exploration and environmental storytelling rather than exposition dumps. The mechanical foundation is stripped-down but functional: turn-based combat, light character progression, and a structure that rewards curiosity over following breadcrumbs. What works is the cohesive sense of place, the world feels deliberate, even intimate. Where it stumbles is in polish and clarity. UI feedback can be vague, tutorials are minimal, and some design decisions feel opaque without explanation. This isn't a game for players who need handholding or immediate gratification.
