Lionheart

Lionheart is a straightforward dungeon crawler built around the Libra Corridor, a magic labyrinth you'll explore turn by turn, battling dozens of monster types with a colorful cast of Japanese voice-acted characters. The core loop is comfort-food stuff: descend, fight, loot, level up, repeat. It's lean on story fluff and heavy on the grind, which works if you're the type who finds satisfaction in incremental progression and turn-based tactical combat. The catch: the $40 asking price feels optimistic for what's essentially an indie passion project with limited polish. Visuals are serviceable but dated, and there's no broader world to explore outside the dungeon proper. If you've got patience for old-school dungeon crawlers and don't mind modest production, Lionheart delivers exactly what it promises. Everyone else will want to see gameplay footage first.
