About Limouzik
I approached Limouzik skeptical that a $5 utility could meaningfully teach music creation, but it's honestly charming in how it lowers the barrier. You map keys to notes, layer sounds, and build simple melodies without touching a DAW or learning music theory. The interface is uncluttered, the built-in sounds are serviceable, and the pacing respects that beginners need permission to play badly before they improve. It's not a replacement for proper music software, and the sound library is lean. But as an entry point for kids or anyone curious about music creation without the overwhelm of FL Studio or Ableton, it does what it sets out to do quietly and without pretense. The kind of small tool that shouldn't work but does, because it remembered who it was made for.
