Liminal Border Part I

I went in expecting a straightforward VN, but Liminal Border Part I twists the premise fast. You're Itsuki, a nerdy guy who accidentally creates hypnotic media and shows it to his neighbor, only to uncover she and a classmate are hiding something dangerous. The story leans into thriller territory, exploring how ordinary people get pulled into murky corners of society. It's the first of four planned installments, so expect a cliffhanger. The writing handles moral ambiguity well, and the setup hooks you because Itsuki is genuinely out of his depth. If you want a VN with darker themes and a premise that hooks fast, this delivers. The catch: it's indie, small cast, and the pacing assumes you'll want the full series. Single entry as a standalone experience, it's more prologue than complete story.
