About LiBER
I went in expecting a straightforward indie action game, and LiBER half-delivers on that promise. The core combat feels responsive when it connects, parrying and heavy attacks have weight to them, but the level design doesn't always give you room to use those tools effectively. You'll find yourself in tight corridors where positioning matters less than button mashing, which drains the fight system of its potential. The adventure structure is loose enough to be charming: you wander between areas, pick up weapons and gear, and fight through enemy gauntlets. Nothing revolutionary, but it's the kind of game that works best if you go in hungry for scrappy, unpolished fun rather than polish. It's not broken, just rough around the edges in ways that matter.
