If your reference point is LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, recalibrate: this one swaps the tight level-select gauntlet for a semi-open galaxy you fly between, with hub planets, side quests and Kyber brick upgrade trees. The combat is the real change. Over-the-shoulder aiming, combo strings and dodge-rolls make blasters and lightsabers feel like actual verbs instead of one attack button. Nine films get the treatment, and the class system (Jedi, Scoundrel, Scavenger, Astromech, Protocol Droid and the rest) gates puzzles in ways that keep character-swapping meaningful. Where it sags is volume. Hundreds of collectibles blur together, planet layouts repeat, and the story missions are compressed to the point where whole films go by in twenty minutes. Play it in short sessions with someone on the couch and it sings. Grind it solo for 100 percent and it becomes a checklist. The Galactic Edition's character packs are cosmetic depth, not new content.
