LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Character Collection 2
Six more character packs for Skywalker Saga completionists, but the mixed reviews tell you everything: this is roster padding, not content.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth it only for dedicated completionists and fans of Rebels or Clone Wars; everyone else can safely skip or wait for a bundle deal.

About LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Character Collection 2
I'll be straight with you: this is a DLC bundle for people who looked at the base game's already enormous roster and thought it needed more. Character Collection 2 drops six themed packs tied to Disney-era Star Wars properties, pulling characters from Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, The Book of Boba Fett, The Clone Wars, Rebels, and the Summer Vacation special. Each pack adds five playable characters, so you're looking at around 30 new faces in total. Highlights include Captain Rex, Darth Maul, Asajj Ventress, Savage Oppress, and Gar Saxon from Clone Wars; Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger, Admiral Thrawn, Kanan Jarrus, and Hera Syndulla from Rebels; and Cassian Andor alongside Luthen Rael, Syril Karn, Dedra Meero, and Bix Caleen from Andor. The Summer Vacation pack is exactly what it sounds like: Darth Vader in a Hawaiian shirt. The honest question is what you actually get for your money beyond that roster tick. None of these packs add new missions, new planets, or new mechanics to the base game. You swap into these characters during free roam or replays, and that is the full extent of it. For players who are 100-percent completionist types, the character unlock checklist is a genuine draw. For everyone else, the addition of Cassian Andor or Admiral Thrawn as a skin changes very little about how the game plays moment to moment. The mixed Steam rating (hovering around 62 percent positive) reflects this split fairly accurately: fans of specific shows like Rebels or The Clone Wars tend to be satisfied, while buyers expecting more substantive content walk away disappointed. Worth noting that if you own neither collection, the combined Character Collection 1 and 2 bundle is almost always the smarter purchase on a per-pack basis. And if you only care about one or two of the six packs here, buying them individually is an option too. The Clone Wars and Rebels packs are the clear highlights given the depth and popularity of those rosters. The Andor pack is a nice touch for fans of that show, and the Obi-Wan Kenobi pack fills in a gap from the Disney Plus series. The Summer Vacation and Book of Boba Fett packs feel like the weakest additions, more obligatory catalog-filling than genuinely exciting roster work. If you are deep into Skywalker Saga and have already squeezed out most of what the base game offers, this collection gives you a reason to revisit. If you are still working through the main story or sitting on Character Collection 1, there is no urgency here. Treat it as a cosmetic-adjacent completionist grab, not a content expansion.
