LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham takes the familiar TT Games formula and launches it into orbit, literally. Batman teams up with a sprawling roster of DC heroes and villains to stop Brainiac from shrinking Earth's cities into his collection. The Season Pass bundles additional story packs and character content on top of that foundation, extending playtime for families and DC fans who cleared the main campaign and still want more. The base game is a competent, cheerful action-adventure built on the same brick-smashing, stud-collecting loop TT Games has refined over years of licensed titles. You punch things, solve light puzzles by switching characters, and unlock an absurd number of DC characters across a hub-based structure. The Season Pass content follows the same template, which is either reassuring or repetitive depending on how much the format already clicks with you. Younger players and co-op households will probably squeeze real value out of the extra levels; solo adults who felt the base game overstayed its welcome won't find anything here that changes the equation. What LEGO Batman 3 does well, the DLC inherits: the humor lands more often than it misses, the co-op split-screen remains one of the most painless couch experiences on console, and the character variety is genuinely impressive for a DC fan. What the DLC also inherits are the franchise's persistent rough edges, including occasional camera awkwardness and puzzles that bottleneck two-player sessions into one person waiting while the other figures out a solo switch. On Xbox One and Xbox Series X this runs smoothly, and the full controller support makes it an easy pick-up-and-play option for households with mixed skill levels. If you're buying this as a standalone purchase without the base game, stop here - this is supplemental content and it makes no sense without the campaign underneath it. If you finished LEGO Batman 3 and your co-op partner is still asking for more DC brick-bashing, the Season Pass does exactly what it says on the tin.
