Legend of Assassin: Egypt aims for that Assassin's Creed vibe on an indie budget, dropping you into pharaonic settings with a protagonist out for revenge. The core loop is straightforward: navigate environments, sneak or fight through enemies, unlock story beats. What works is the setting itself, ancient Egypt provides genuine visual interest compared to a hundred fantasy retreads. What doesn't work is almost everything else. Combat feels sluggish, stealth detection is inconsistent, and the dialogue/story beats plod through exposition without much personality. This is the kind of game you pick up when you want *something* with assassins and pyramids and nothing else scratches that specific itch.
