Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West
A 2010 third-person team shooter set in the Wild West that's survived on a skeleton crew of die-hard players, still functional, but you're buying into a ghost town.
GamerScout Verdict
Only worth playing if you can bring a full squad of friends willing to tolerate minimal matchmaking population.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West
Lead and Gold is a time capsule: a lean, fast-paced team deathmatch shooter that Fatshark built before they pivoted to melee combat with Vermintide. You pick a class (gunslinger, trapper, sheriff, preacher) and fight across dusty Western maps in 4v4 or 8v8 skirmishes. The gunplay is snappy, and the class roles actually matter if your team has a pulse. The problem is the pulse is barely there. The playerbase is microscopic, matchmaking can take forever, and you'll see the same handful of names. For a multiplayer game, that's a death sentence. If you can wrangle three friends to join you, it's a decent few hours of gritty shootouts. Solo or with randoms expecting a populated server, skip it.
