About Jumping Tank
Jumping Tank is exactly what its name promises: you pilot a tank that jumps. Released in 2017 as a low-key indie project, it's built around a single, repeatable loop, navigate levels by timing jumps, avoid obstacles, reach the goal. The concept is straightforward enough that anyone can pick it up, which works in its favor for casual play sessions. The novelty of a jumping tank carries you through the first few levels. What holds it back is the lack of variety. Once you've mastered the jump timing, the game doesn't layer in new mechanics or level design complexity to keep momentum going. It's the kind of game that exists in that grey zone between "neat prototype" and "finished product", fun for 20 minutes if the concept grabs you, but not much reason to come back once the novelty wears off. If you're hunting for a quick, no-stakes platformer and don't mind retro-feeling presentation, it's harmless enough.
