Julai
A minimalist action-sim hybrid where you pilot a tank-like vehicle through sparse environments. Niche oddity from 2016 that's more experiment than game.
GamerScout Verdict
Esoteric vehicle-sim curio for completionists of oddball indie experiments; most players will find it frustratingly opaque.

About Julai
I booted Julai expecting clarity on what it actually is, and the game didn't help. It's nominally an action-simulation title where you control a vehicle across barren terrain, but the mechanics feel half-baked and the objectives murky. There's a weird collision between tank-like controls and what might be puzzle-solving, but neither lands with conviction. The visuals are deliberately minimal, almost debug-mode austere. Julai is a "what was this supposed to be" kind of experience - the sort of low-profile indie experiment that gets lost between itch.io oddities and forgotten publisher catalogs. If you're hunting obscure action-sims or have a high tolerance for mechanical ambiguity, it's a curio. Everyone else should skip it.
