Izanami's Dream Battle flips the usual bullet-hell script. Instead of weaving through walls of projectiles, you're designing them. The premise is lean: Izanami uses a magical stone to manifest her thoughts as danmaku patterns, and you're essentially playing conductor to her imagination. It's a bite-sized action game that won't demand your weekend, but if you're burnt out on traditional shmups and want something conceptually different, this scratches that itch. The trade-off is obvious: this is a small indie project from 2016 with the polish and depth you'd expect from that era and scope.
