Iron Wings
A bare-bones WWII arcade flight sim where you alternate between two pilots and spray bullets at Nazi fighters. It's rough around the edges but has a kernel of arcade fun if you accept what it is.
GamerScout Verdict
For arcade flight fans who want simple, unpretentious aerial combat without the sim overhead.

About Iron Wings
Iron Wings is a 2017 indie flight arcade game that doesn't pretend to be a simulator, it's pure arcade action set in WWII. You fly missions as either Jack or Amelia, switching between pilots as the campaign progresses, tackling objectives and downing enemy fighters with straightforward mouse/controller aiming. Each mission chains together multiple targets and objectives, giving the campaign some structure even if the difficulty curve is all over the place. The core loop works: point at stuff, shoot it, move to the next objective. Controller support helps, though the visuals are dated and the mission variety is thin. There's no deep flight model or tactical depth here, it's pure reflex shooting with a plane attached. If you want WWII air combat that respects your time and doesn't demand 40 hours of grinding, this scratches that itch. Just don't expect polish or innovation.
