About INTERSHELTER
INTERSHELTER bills itself as an action-RPG with MMO bones, but eight years on it reads like a relic of pre-Overwatch online gaming. The core loop involves combat encounters paired with progression mechanics that feel borrowed from early 2010s MMOs without the community to justify it. Leveling, loot drops, and stat-chasing are all here, but the single-player campaign can't generate enough momentum to make any of it feel rewarding. The real issue: this game launched into radio silence and never recovered. There's no active playerbase, no post-launch support trail visible, and minimal documentation of what makes its systems tick. Even genre-agnostic action fans will find the moment-to-moment combat too stiff and uninspired to carry eight hours alone. Worth a look only if you're hunting obscure indie experiments, but don't expect much beyond awkward nostalgia.
