Infantry Attack

Infantry Attack is exactly what its title suggests: you're a soldier pointing guns at incoming waves of enemies until they stop coming. No story, no progression system, just pure arcade action stripped to its mechanical core. It works fine as a quick five-minute session if you want something mindless and challenging, and the controller support means you can slump on the couch while doing it. The catch is there's not much game here beyond that premise. No weapon variety, no strategic depth, no reason to come back after you've seen what it offers. It's the kind of title you pick up on sale when you're tired and want to shoot things without thinking. Perfectly functional indie action, but forgettable once you walk away.
