Inbetween Land
A gentle hidden-object adventure that respects your afternoon: painterly scenes, fair puzzles, and a sci-fi mood that outshines the story it is telling.
GamerScout Verdict
Best for hidden-object fans who want atmosphere and a clean short runtime, not a story that lingers afterward.
Compare Prices(3 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Inbetween Land
Machinarium is the comparison people reach for whenever a small point-and-click shows up with pretty backgrounds, and it is the wrong one here. Inbetween Land sits in the hidden-object lineage instead: you sweep cluttered scenes for objects, solve light inventory puzzles, and follow a childhood friend's distress call through a portal into a sci-fi world that keeps quietly insisting something is wrong. Specialbit built it as a single-player mood piece, and the mood is comfortably the best thing in it. What works is the pacing. It knows it is a short game, so it never pads the middle with busywork or backtracking. The scenes are hand-painted with real care, the ambient score does a lot of soft heavy lifting, and the puzzles sit right at the difficulty where you feel clever instead of stuck. What disappoints is the ending, which resolves thinner than the setup earns, and the writing, which stays functional when the art is reaching for something stranger. Genre veterans will be done in an afternoon, achievements and trading cards included.
