Solid B-tier strategy for players who want card synergies and empire building without deep narrative demands.

About Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars
I spent about 30 hours with Immortal Realms expecting a Slay the Spire spin on vampire politics. What I got instead was a hybrid that works best when you're managing your bloodline's resources and card decks between battles, less so when you're actually fighting. The turn-based combat is serviceable, but the real meat is in the empire layer: recruiting units, upgrading bloodline abilities, and crafting synergistic decks that feel rewarding to execute. It's turn-based strategy comfort food, not a tactics puzzle. The writing is fine if forgettable, and the campaign moves fast enough that you won't notice the lack of narrative hooks. If you want a chill campaign where you're building vampire power structures and watching deck synergies click, grab it. If you're hunting for story-driven character arcs or mechanical depth that rivals Fire Emblem, look elsewhere. Solid B-tier strategy that knows what it is.
