About Ice Age Scrat's Nutty Adventure
I spent a couple hours with Scrat's Nutty Adventure expecting the usual licensed tie-in cash grab, and that's mostly what I got. You're herding the sabre-tooth squirrel through colorful levels hunting four Crystal Nuts, collecting acorns, dodging hazards. The core platforming is functional but forgettable, jump timing feels floaty, platforms don't slot together with any real flow, and level design leans on repetition over clever geometry. Where it clicks is in its simplicity. Kids who just watched the latest Ice Age movie will probably dig trotting around familiar-looking environments, and the achievement list shows Outright Games at least tried to pad out playtime with hidden stuff. There's nothing here that'll stick with you past the credits, but it's harmless fluff if you need a low-stakes platformer for an afternoon. Not recommended for anyone seeking actual level design craft or mechanical depth.
