GamerScout Verdict
Kids-only licensed platformer with solid controls but forgettable level design and no replay value for older players.

About Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures
I went in expecting a kids' adventure that might lean on the Hotel Transylvania films' humor. Instead, Scary-Tale Adventures is a straightforward action-platformer that uses the IP as window dressing. You jump through fairy-tale-themed worlds, bash enemies, and fight bosses in a series of short stages that feel like placeholder content strung together. Controller support is solid, and the art direction doesn't embarrass the license, but the level design lacks personality, rooms feel copy-pasted, combat boils down to mashing, and there's no real hook to keep you playing once the novelty of the theme wears off (usually within the first hour). This is a budget title that knows its lane: younger kids who recognize the characters and need a few hours of distraction. If you're an adult or looking for something with actual craft, pass. It's not broken, but it's not worth your time either.
