Heavenly Battle

I went in blind on Heavenly Battle because there's almost nothing written about it. What I found is a scrappy indie action-adventure from 2016 that feels like it was made by people who loved old-school brawlers but didn't have AAA resources to polish it. The combat is the core hook: straightforward melee action with a casual vibe that doesn't pretend to be Dark Souls or Devil May Cry. It's the kind of game that lives or dies on whether the hit feedback feels good and the enemy patterns click with you. The real question is whether you're okay with a game that's basically flying under the radar. No Steam reviews, no Metacritic, minimal online chatter means you're taking a genuine swing-and-miss risk.
