GamerScout Verdict
Best for FPS fans who want a massive, mod-friendly Halo archive - campaigns are the star, multiplayer is a solid bonus with caveats.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

About Halo: The Master Chief Collection - Windows 10 Store Key
I've put time across all six titles in this collection and the honest answer is that nothing else on PC hands you this much shooter history in a single install. Starting with Halo: Reach's prequel tragedy and running through Combat Evolved, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, ODST, and Halo 4, the collection spans the full arc of the Bungie and early 343 Industries era, 67 campaign missions in total, with co-op supported throughout. What the collection does exceptionally well is campaign design. Each entry builds its own identity: Reach leans on squad-level stakes and Spartan armor customization you actually unlock through play; Combat Evolved Anniversary lets you toggle between original and remastered graphics mid-level with a button press; Halo 2's Anniversary treatment is a dramatic visual step up, and the dual-wielding and story ambition still hold up. Halo 3 adds Skull modifiers per mission, a layer of replayability that keeps Legendary runs interesting well past the credits. ODST's Firefight survival mode is a genuine separate attraction. Halo 4 caps the run with the tightest gunplay in the set and a story that puts the Master Chief and Cortana relationship front and center. The PC port adds 4K support, uncapped framerates, ultrawide, full mouse-and-keyboard rebinding, and Steam Workshop mod support, which the community has used to build new campaigns and weapon sets well beyond what shipped in the box. The weak point is multiplayer stability, and it is worth naming plainly. At launch the matchmaking was genuinely broken; 343 patched it repeatedly, and the Steam review base at over 260,000 reviews has landed at 92 percent positive, which suggests the worst is behind the collection. That said, regenerating shields in the older titles push you toward a stop-and-hide rhythm that feels dated against modern shooters, and co-op campaign netcode has historically been inconsistent depending on who hosts. The checkpoint system across the older games is finicky enough to occasionally cost you several minutes of progress. For newcomers to the franchise, this is the most efficient on-ramp imaginable. For returning fans, the modular launcher means you can download only the titles you actually want to replay rather than filling a drive with games you'll skip. The depth here is real: Skulls, difficulty tiers, anniversary graphics toggles, Firefight, cross-platform multiplayer, LAN support, and a modding ecosystem that keeps adding content years after release. The collection is not a polished, problem-free product in every corner, but the campaign content alone is among the strongest FPS single-player archives available on PC.
