I've got limited data on Great Powers, but the fundamentals grab me: a turn-based 4X with serious economic and military modeling baked in. For strategy players like me who think ahead rather than react, that's the foundation that matters. The indie tag and April 2025 release suggest this is a small team punching above their weight, which often means fewer voice lines and tutorial hand-holding but tighter mechanical coherence. No Steam reviews yet means you're early adopter territory. The risk is obvious: unpolished edges, a modding ecosystem that doesn't exist, and no community build guides three weeks in. But if you're the type who reads patch notes for fun and doesn't need AAA production values to enjoy 50+ hours of optimization, this is exactly the kind of title that rewards spreadsheet players.
