About Good Goliath
Good Goliath flips the usual David-versus-Goliath story on its head. You control the big guy, rooted in place as armies of small foes swarm toward you in waves. It's part tower defense, part arcade reflex game: catch incoming projectiles and enemies, dodge what you can't grab, and throw them back or lob whatever environmental junk is within reach. The storybook art direction keeps things light and charming despite the chaos, and there's a real arcade satisfaction to the moment-to-moment gameplay when you nail a catch-and-throw combo. The catch is that the novelty wears faster than the waves last. Waves feel samey after a few runs, and there's not much progression or strategic depth to sink your teeth into beyond "survive longer." It's a solid arcade-action concept that works best in short bursts rather than extended sessions. If you love wave-survival games and want something with immediate, tangible feedback, this scratches that itch. Just don't expect it to occupy your gaming life for long.
