About Golden Swords
Golden Swords is an indie adventure-strategy mix from 2016 that tries to straddle action combat and tactical planning without fully committing to either. You're exploring a fantasy world, managing a party, and engaging in turn-based combat encounters that feel more methodical than thrilling. The game has the bones of something interesting, but execution is uneven. Asset reuse is heavy, the pacing drags in stretches, and the story doesn't give you much reason to push forward. This is a curio for players who've exhausted better indie RPGs and want to see what a scrappy 2016 team thought strategy-adventure should be. It's not broken, just unremarkable. You'll find deeper satisfaction in nearly every modern alternative.
