God Eater 3

God Eater 3 drops you into a post-apocalyptic grind where your job is to hunt oversized monsters called Aragami with a squad of custom God Eaters. The combat itself feels responsive and meaty when you're in the rhythm of combos and weapon swaps, and the co-op missions are where the game shines, coordinating takedowns with up to three other players saves it from pure solo tedium. The story exists but won't win awards, and the mission loop (hunt, carve, upgrade gear, hunt again) is exactly what you'd expect from the monster-hunting genre. Problem is the camera fights you constantly, the AI squad mates are dead weight, and the difficulty spikes feel artificial rather than earned. It's a 2019 port that shows its age on PC, but if you've got co-op partners and patience for stat-chasing, there's something here.
