Compare Goat Simulator: Waste of Space prices across trusted key stores and find the best deal. Developed by Gone North Games. Published by Coffee Stain Publishing. Released on 5/26/2016. Available on PC. Genres: Casual, Indie, Simulation.

A physics toy with a lightsaber and no gravity, best treated as one silly co-op evening rather than a game you'll return to.

This one asks for almost nothing, and that cuts both ways. There is no build order, no tutorial to respect or insult, no systems layer to master. You get a goat, a low-gravity space station, a saber-style weapon, and the expectation that you will invent your own objectives out of ragdoll physics. I usually measure a game by how its decision space opens up around hour twenty. Here the decision space is fully visible in the first fifteen minutes, and the Sci-Fi parody framing is the only structure holding it together. What saves it is the split-screen. Two people on a couch improvising stunts in low gravity is genuinely funny, and the level editor plus Workshop support means the ceiling is however much effort the community put in. Achievement hunters get a decent checklist too. But the 87 percent positive rating reflects a crowd that got exactly the evening they wanted and moved on. Solo, it runs dry fast. Treat it as a one-night party toy, not a sandbox you'll keep a save file in. Diego, Scout Team

Worth it only if you have a second controller and one free evening; solo players will exhaust it before bedtime.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
