Glyph asks for patience before it hands you anything. The first stretch is a movement school: your scarab rolls, jumps, and glides with real weight, and until you internalize how momentum carries through a launch you will overshoot every platform in the desert. That gate is the point. Once the physics click, the ruins open up into collectathons, optional time trials, and long stretches of quiet, sun-bleached exploration that you can take at whatever pace suits you. What Bolverk Games got right is restraint. Roughly four hours, no padding, no bloated map markers, and a soundscape that leaves the desert feeling genuinely empty rather than merely underpopulated. The precision platforming does bite: some collectible placements ask for pixel-perfect glide control, and the camera occasionally fights you in tight vertical shafts. If you want narrative, there is almost none here. But as a small, hand-tuned movement game that knows exactly when to stop, it earns its space.
