Game Character Hub
A sprite-editing workbench for RPG Maker devs that hides real power behind a UI stuck in 2014. Worth it if you're building a game, skip it if you're browsing.
GamerScout Verdict
Buy it if you're shipping an RPG Maker project and need faster sprite work; skip it if you just want to doodle.
Compare Prices(4 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Game Character Hub
The first hour is rough, and you should know that going in. You open it expecting a friendly character creator and instead get a cramped, dated interface with layer panels that fight your mouse, generator parts scattered across menus that don't explain themselves, and no meaningful onboarding. Plenty of people bounce right there, which explains the mixed review score. Push through, though, and the actual toolset underneath is legitimately handy: layered sprite editing, a parts-based generator for character sheets, tileset work, and export that drops straight into an RPG Maker project without a conversion dance. Steam Workshop support means you're not limited to the bundled parts either. Who it's for is narrow and worth stating plainly. If you're actively building an RPG Maker game and tired of hand-editing sprite sheets in a generic image editor, this saves real hours. If you're a hobbyist poking around for a fun avatar maker, you'll hate it. It is a utility wearing a store page, and it never pretends otherwise once you're inside. Judge it on whether it speeds up your asset pipeline, because that is the only question it answers well.
