About Galactic Command Echo Squad SE
I approached Galactic Command Echo Squad SE expecting another forgettable indie space game. Instead, I found a surprisingly meaty tactical experience that refuses to hold your hand. The campaign throws you into real-time planetary and space combat where unit positioning, weapon loadouts, and resource management actually matter. You can't just click on enemies and win - you need to think three moves ahead. The sandbox mode lets you experiment without campaign pressure, which is where newcomers should start. The UI is dated and the learning curve is steep, but if you enjoy building firing solutions and managing limited assets under pressure, there's legitimate sim-craft here. Not flashy, but competent.
